ALAMANCE COUNTY, 2020 is an 8-hour, 14 chapter observational documentary film chronicling a North Carolina community through one of the most turbulent years in modern American history.

Filmed from New Year's Eve 2019 through the first moments of 2021, the film follows residents from across the political and social spectrum as they confront the pandemic, reckon with questions of race and history, and navigate a deeply consequential election season. The result is a sweeping portrait of a community—and a country—at a crossroads.

The film is set to premiere and screen in 2027. Offering viewers an unprecedented look and reminder of life in 2020.
